We cruised on the Epic departing from Rome on Wednesday September 28th for 7 days of Epic FUN. After spending three days in Rome exploring the city we were ready for a little R & R on the ship. We arrived at the port at approximately 1:00pm and were met by David our concierge from the Haven. We were quickly checked in and made our way up to the Haven with an escort. After suggesting we grab a lunch in the Epic Lounge we were given a tour of Haven and the Posh Club and shown to our 2 bedroom family suite. The suite was huge and more than enough room for my wife and myself. We were offered this suite after contacting NCL up sale line and jumped at the opportunity. If you do get the chance to upgrade to the Haven do it, you won't regret it. From our cabin steward Jay to our butler Ahmad to the gentleman at the concierge desk and the servers in the Epic lounge we were treated like GOLD the whole week.

Our favourite part of the Haven was the bar just outside the Epic Lounge and our favourite crew member was Diego the bartender. After meeting Diego the first night when my wife was not feeling well he always remembered my name and drink and had one ready for me when ever we went for drinks. Diego was a lot of fun and always stressed "happy thoughts" through out our trip, we can't say enough about him and NCL should be proud of this great employee. He is one of the reasons were already at looking a booking another cruise on the Epic.

On days we stayed on the ship we enjoyed our time in the Posh Club, our bartender Nash and his crew were excellent and made speciality drinks for my wife and always made sure I had a nice cold Coors Light. We had pre-booked Priscilla Queen of the Desert and the Cirque Dreams show and were thrilled with both. I suggest also checking out the back up band in the Cavern Club, sorry I forget their name but they were excellent and played all types of music.
