A shot from the door.
A shot from the balcony back.
Such tiny balconies.

I needed a trip to get the heck away from work. I had done the Eastern Caribbean, a Transatlantic, so I figured Western Caribbean was next. This was my third cruise and all have been with NCL. My friend was supposed to go with me but had to cancel so I'm sure that dropped my good time a little but no matter. I will focus on the ship.

The ship itself is ok. I think there are a lot of misses though.

Things I liked: 678 Ocean Place. This was a great concept. I liked being able to walk around especially on the aft portion which has great views.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Loved the location of this cabin. I was able to walk the stairs to get everywhere. It was a short walk from the elevators to the cabin. The cabin itself was clean but only after a bit of prompting on embarkation day about missed items to the steward. The steward did well the rest of the time.

Port Reviews

Roatan

I can't say I cared for Roatan that much. I should have taken a cab to the West End.

Belize City

I liked Belize City a lot. Plenty of room to roam and nice people.

Costa Maya

This port was terrible. It was so engineered and fake feeling. Wandering outside the gates there is nothing but empty buildings with nothing in them seemingly for a long time, homeless people, and taxi drivers.
