Just back from our third cruise, but only now signing up to cruise critic so this is our first review. My wife and I have just returned from a 7 day Mediterranean Cruise on board Norwegian Epic. We are a young married couple in our early 30's. We made our own way to Barcelona. The Aerobus from El Prat Airport will take you to Playa Cataluyna costs €10 weekly return, From Playa Cataluyna we took a casual 10 minute walk down La Rambla. At the end of La Rambla there is a shuttle bus that will take you to the terminal for €3 - we priced a taxi and estimated cost was €40 each way

The shuttle bus ride was approx 7-8 minutes to the terminal. Our luggage was tagged up pretty quickly and taken away as we entered into the main terminal. The check in process was very quick and smooth. We boarded the Epic at approx 2pm where we ate lunch at The Garden Cafe. The selection was plentiful. Pizza, hotdogs, burgers, fries, chicken, salads, sweets, the list is really endless.

We stayed in a balcony room on the 10th deck. The room was initially, disappointingly small. we got used to it over the week and we had read reviews about the rooms previously but it was disappointing. There is no traditional bathroom, its a cubicle - the wash basin is in the main body of the bedroom. A cubicle shower is also seperate. The shower and toilet can be concealed from the main body of the bedroom by a curtain - we found this not relevant for us seeing that we are married but we thought it may be awkward if your sharing with a parent or friend.
