We've just returned from a week on Thomson Dream and had a wonderful time. I feel sorry for people who have had bad experiences, but we found the whole trip well organised, and yes we have cruised before. The Thomson staff were well organised at the airport, and check in at the port was very swift. We went straight to our cabin, an outside plus on deck 6, and were impressed with the size compared to other ships. We had 2 beds together to make a double and there was a further sofa which could be made up into a 3rd bed as necessary. The bathroom was small but adequate, although the toilet being at an angle meant you couldn't sit straight on it without putting your foot in the bath. Comical but no real inconvenience.

Knowing that suitcases can take some time to arrive, we were prepared and had taken a change of clothing in our hand luggage.

We soon found our way around the ship with most entertainment on deck 8. The entertainment team changed after the first day and they put on some marvellous shows. They were good singers and dancers and very professional. There was usually good entertainment on stage in the Medusa Lounge, with a good band/singer. There was also further music in Tides and then in the area by the casino. Entertainment for everyone.
