My husband and I just finished a fabulous cruise on the Silver Shadow. Our son lives in Japan so it was a great way to go there. The crossing was good except for one rough night.

The service on the ship was perfect! The butlers were there when needed and did everything they could to make sure your every need was handled. The food was good as was the wine selections. I enjoy wine and found that I was introduced to many types of wine that I had not had before, which broadened my understanding of various grapes.

The ship itself is comfortable and a nice size. It is in need of a little refurbishing but is due for dry dock in January. The lectures were outstanding! One speaker spoke on Japan and the other about the history of Warner Brothers.
