Getting ready to embark on this cruise I was a little apprehensive since my husband really likes the Caribbean and did not want to get cold. Cold was not a problem. In Juneau it was 65 degrees and we did not hit on drop of rain. We could not have asked for better weather.
Of my last 5 cruises 4 have been on the Golden and of my past 15 with Princess this was probably my friendliest.
We left Long Beach, CA early in the morning and arrived in Seattle around 10 AM. We did not purchase ground transportation from Princess but they offered to take our luggage to the ship for us. We went straight to the ship and had no problems with embarkation procedures. I am a Platinum member so we had preferred check-in. Nobody was in front of us so we sailed right through. We waited about 30-45 minutes to board the ship and went directly to our room. We met our room steward within 5 minutes and he asked us if there was anything we needed. We then went exploring.
This cabin, as all on the Caribe Deck, has a very large balcony. 2 deck charis, one table and 2 recliners with room to spare. But where they give you extra space on the balcony they take up in the interior and bathroom. The shower is so small you can barely turn around.
