We just got off the Allure cruise Oct 2nd to the 9th 2016. It was excellent. Our Captian steered us around Hurricane Matthew by doing the cruise backwards. We were to visit Lababee, Haiti first, instead it was last. We ending up with a beautiful day on the beach in Cozumel and in Labadee. Royal Caribbean left behind tons of food for disaster relief after Matthew hit. This was our 23rd cruise on 5 different cruise lines. Nothing beats Royal Caribbean in verity of entertainment, food options and the WOW Factor of seeing the Promenade for the first time. Our new favorite speciality resturant is IZUMI's. We did the Habatchi and it was the best we've ever had. What a show! Our other favorite is Giovanni's. The entertainment was the Broadway's play Monpmma Mia, Blue Planet, the Comedy Club, a High Dive Show, Mainliners was Mosaic, a parade down the Promenade and THE QUEST. if you don't know about the QUEST, you have not been on Royal Caribbean. We were disappointed in the Falmouth, Jamaica stop. It appeared to be a new port Royal Caribbean is trying to develope. Get back on the ship was terrible. There is not a lot there unless you are into Jimmy Buffet and Margaritaville like us, so book an excursion for sure. While we prefer other itineraries, the Royal Caribbean ships are a destination themselves. Bon Voyage!
Average cabin size for an Ocean View Balcony. We upgrade to a Jr Suite usually and will next time.
Day at the beach.
You should take an excursion here. There is little to do. Looks like Royal Caribbean is trying to develope this port. We love the Margaritaville here, so we had fun.
