This was a very good cruise, with only a few minor issues. All in all, the Regal Princess is an incredible boat that you can have a ton of fun on. We did!

Embarkation went smoothly. There was, apparently, quite a zoo out front of the port with taxis and Ubers and busses all clogging the road out front and lines being long. By the time we got there - around 2:00 p.m. - we pulled right up to the port building and jumped in a 30 minute line to get credentials and get on the boat. No muss, no fuss.

We had an interior stateroom and found it easily. It was nice - good floor plan. Went up stairs to Horizon Court buffet and it is what everyone says: an incredible buffet. Really great food all the time. Found the International Cafe and enjoyed snacking there. It is easily the best kept secret on the boat. Never any lines and great, hot food (and cookies).

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin IA

We do interior cabins. This one was small (aren't they all) but functional and did not feel claustrophobic. Super quite.

Port Reviews

Boston

Did the Freedom Trail on our own with Uber helping. Did a harbor cruise to see the lighthouse but it was too long and we didn't see the LH that great.

Saint John (New Brunswick)

Wandered to the market and just looked around a little. Saw the loyalist church. All okay but not great.

Halifax

Great day in Halifax. Go to Peggy's Cove!

New York (Manhattan)

NY is a seriously intimidating city. Flew in to LaGuardia and that was a mistake. LG is a disaster.
