This is our 12+th cruises and 2nd with Princess. At first, from reading few of negative comments from previous Hawaiian cruises and some negative dinning experience from my previous cruise on Diamond Princess three years ago, I was prepared for the worst. We were also concerned the 11 sea days and high percentages of passengers older than 75+, our holiday would be a challenged one. To my surprises, all the above negatives turned into a big plus. Firstly, the first 5 sea days went by very fast as there were many activities on board such interesting lectures, dancing lessons, or simple chatting with other passengers. The last six days sea days was even better because after 4 continuous ports, the sea days was great way to relax before coming home, no immediately packing for the airport right after 4 days of running around. The 75+ year old passengers were all seasoned cruisers as they all very relax, respectful to other fellow passengers and staffs, and know how to have a good time. Most of the activities were full , including the disco floor in the evening. All staffs were working hard to please and look happy. This could be credit to the ship's captain Michele Tuvo. This is the only ship I have been in where the captain walk around on the ship everyday and interact with the passenger with smiles and jokes.

We have outside obstructed room E406, it was between the life boats and we still had a good view of the ocean and land from our room. The room is relatively spacious compare to my previous cruise ships: Celebrity, Norwegian, and Holland America. Like every other cruises, the room steward work hard to comfort us.

The food was top quality all thru out, evening the buffets, not overcook or lack of varieties. My favor was the Asian soup noodle, prawn sushi, lots of tropical fruits, best lamb chops and best deserts for all my cruises holidays.
