Embarkation was smooth. It took about 1 hour from arrival at port to on the ship.
Ship although 20 years old was beautiful, classic, generally well maintained. Nice layout with wrap around promenade deck on Deck 5 and Walking track (4 laps to the mile ) on Deck 10. Nice layout and easy to get around. Some small maintenance issues and some water leaks between Deck 9 and 10 when it rained but nothing that caused an issue with our experience.
Had a large sideways interior cabin on Deck 7. First interior cabin. Room for everything we needed / brought for 10 day / 9 night cool weather cruise to New England / Canada. Small suitcase fit under the bed but had to park the large suitcases in the closet. With the bed made up as a double bed you had to step over corner of the bed to get past the vanity on the one side. There were are few issues with water leaks in our kids room from ceiling on 3 different days, and our toilet quit working the morning of departure. Maintenance was quick to respond when called.
Cabin was small but serviceable. Found room for everything we brought. We put our small suitcases under the bed and had to put the large suit cases in the closet so we lost some floor space but it worked OK for us. We had the bed made up put together and you had to step over the corner next to the vanity to get in and out on that side.
Our Stateroom Attendant Luis was very attentive and did a great Job of keeping our room serviced.
Being an interior cabin it was very quiet and dark and we slept well every night. First time we have done an interior cabin.
