Great opportunity to see Russia. It is unique in many ways. The cities are like other great European cities with history, architecture and art to explore. The countryside is beautiful and unspoiled. This river cruise was a wonderful way to see the countryside.

Everything was handled so there was no stress to the travel. Representatives met us and handled everything to get us on board and in our cabins easily. The ship was a good size -- not too big and not too small. Our cabin provided plenty of storage so luggage could be stored away. Food/Dining was exceptional with a nice inclusion of local dishes. We even had a cooking class for a local favorite - pelmeni. Onboard, during the sail there were plenty of choices of lectures on Russian history, language lessons, visiting the Bridge and other entertainment. There were many shore excursions - most of them included in the price.

The Viking staff made the trip fun and encouraged us to practice our Russian. The majority were Russians and they were happy to talk with us about their country.

Cabin Review

Cabin Window cabin on the Truvor

Cabin was fine. Plenty of storage so we could stow suitcases beneath the bed. Very comfortable bed and linens. Great housekeeping.

St. Petersburg

Exceptional. We would go again.

Moscow

Exceptional; easy to get around on the Metro.
