This cruise was very nice but needs little more excitement during sea hours.

We chose this cruise as a quick, inexpensive trip. We were pleasantly surprised with the renovations of this older ship. We were in cabin 9648 which is a Junior Suite, it was a bit smaller than probably a newer ship would be. The embarkation and disembarkation went extremely smooth considering we were late into port due to hurricane Matthew. I found that this ship would have been perfect for older cruisers because they did not have a lot of things to keep you busy during the day and after dinner. I thought the meals in the dining room were presented well and very tasty. The desserts looked terrific but lacked the taste and consistency that I have experienced in the past. The service on the other had was top notch. We could not have asked for anymore. Both with food and cabin services. We did get off the ship in Key West, Florida just for the Conch railroad tour, which we had done in the past. However, we did not get off the ship in Cozumel because we had been there so many times already.
