Staff were really excellent, friendly and helpful - cabin always well maintained. Food average compared with other cruises we'd been on with not a lot of variety in the main dining room. Solstice show band and regular singers and dancers were very good but shows themselves were not as glitzy as expected. Couple of guest piano players/singers were excellent. It would have been good if musicians providing background music in bars and quiet areas had not used amplifiers as it was often impossible to have a conversation once they started. There were the usual activities such as game shows and trivia but so much on offer each day seemed to focus on events in the shops to encourage people to spend money. Drinks had an automatic 18% gratuity added - far more expensive than the other 8 cruises we'd been on previously. Shore excursions expensive - a lot cheaper to take one of the local buses/taxis/tours of which there were many available at each stop, and they are just as reliable in getting you there and back on time. Overall it is a nice ship but we are unlikely to sail with them again.

Cabin Review

Cabin verandah stateroom

Comfortable and good location. Balcony nice and deep. Lot of coat hangers which was a plus.
