We wanted to go on the New England/Canada cruise and I've enjoyed Royal Caribbean in the past so chose this one. I've never been on the larger ships and at first was skeptical, but it was fine. Yes, there were a lot of people, but it wasn't too much of a problem.
Pros: The enire staff was very friendly and very helpful, we had a balcony cabin and it was comfortable, clean and the bed was comfortable. The ship was clean and modern and the artwork all around was interesting. The boarding process was so easy. Since everything was done ahead of time, it made getting onboard so quick, and once onboard, there were people everywhere answering questions and willing to help. The bands in the lounges were really good. Activities (IFly, bumper cars, etc) were very good. Loved iFly!
Cons: We didn't like the restaurant process. Before we went we tried getting reservations but for almost every night, only after 8:00 was available and we didn't want to eat that late. I was told we could make arrangements when we got on board. So we waited in line on the first day and made some more reservations, but had to go back to change some and make some others during the week. All I could think was how could the older people put up with this reservation system. The food was fine, but nothing special. I feel the quality of cruise ship food has gone down since the inception of specialty dining. They want you to pay for a "better" meal, after having paid a lot for the cruise.
Very nice. Ingrid did a great job of keeping it clean and she was really friendly. The bed was comfortable and while it was rather a narrow room, it was fine. It was comfortable for 2 people.
Beatiful city to walk and so much to see.
We walked around. It was a nice little town.
Very cute town to explore and see the shops. Enjoyed walking through the town.
The exursions didn't interest us and were pretty expensive. We walked around.
