This cruise was originally supposed to be a trip to Nassau, Bahamas and Cococay, as well as one day at sea. Before we left port, we knew the hurricane was coming and our itinerary was changed. Since Freeport is further north and closer to Port Canaveral, we stopped there first and then went down to Key West. We enjoyed a fabulous day in Key West. We were docked there for 24 hours which is a rare event. Then we headed into the Gulf of Mexico for two sea days. We enjoyed blue skies and calm seas the entire trip. Because the ship wasn't able to get into Port Canaveral (the port was still closed) we docked in Fort Lauderdale where RCCI had 60 buses waiting to take us to Port Canaveral. Even though we were a day late arriving shuttles to the car parks were waiting. I was very happy with the service of Park Port Canaveral.

The ship itself is older but we knew that ahead of time and found the smaller size very enjoyable. The ship is kept clean and the crew are fantastic.

Because we were onboard an extra night, RCCI had an additional entertainer join the cruise in Key West. I was very impressed that they would do this and enjoyed all the entertainment on the ship.

Cabin I

The cabins on the Majesty are small but was really plenty of room for my hubby and I. Our room attendant Anthony was fantastic - very helpful and friendly.
