Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Just got off a 7 day eastern caribbean cruise on the Oasis of the seas. First off I think the ship is too big. Very immpressive with all the common areas. The balcony and cabins were as advertised. The Royal King bed was very comfortable. Our cabin steward was extremely freindly. She did an amazing job. We spotted her with an additionable tip.

Now for the bad. Every one I spoke with said that RCCL had the best food and service. I must have gotten on the wrong boat, because the food in the Windjammer buffet was average. They did not have a sandwitch bar. They did have some cold cuts available. They were cut too thick and were not really good. They had no potatoe or macaroni salads that I saw. Did'nt see any pickles or olives either. The hamburgers they had were horrible.Had to go to Johnny Rockets (extra cost) to get a decent burger. The food in the main dining room fair. The food and service was very dissapointing.

The food and service at the specialty restaurants was fantastic. I was a good thing I purchased the 3 night package for these venues. Entertainment was good. I took the behind the scenes which was very interesting.
