We were invited to come along on the cruise from my brother-in-law. They expressed wonderful service and vies on the Viking cruises. The Viking Vadar and its crew made the entire trip wonderful, exciting, and well worth the time. One of the best vacation trips I ever had! And hope to do again in the future. The Viking company made all our arrangements to include airfare - this was great as I didn't have to fight the airlines...Viking did. From start to finish, the overall experience was more than expected. I especially enjoyed the visits to the castles and the wonderful Germany town of Heidelburg and the windmills of Kinderdicke. The ride in the Vadar was so smooth, neither my wife or I could tell when we were sailing...we literally had to open the balcony door curtains to see that we were moving! Beds were very restful and that sure helped when we were exhausted by the excursion trips.
