Great way to see Europe! Trip was well organized, service on board was top notch, and the staff, from top to bottom, was friendly, happy and incredibly motivated. Food was well presented with a wide variety of offerings, and delicious. Wine was great and we learned a lot about the different varieties along our route.

We booked the pre-embarkation days in Amsterdam, but our flight from the US to Amsterdam was delayed 24 hours, so we missed one of the days. Viking was very responsive to our plight and made arrangements to help us with our late arrival. Embarkation was very easy.

The ship was so easy to get around (as opposed to a giant cruise ship). We especially enjoyed the top deck and/or the lounge on those rainy or chilly days. We enjoyed virtually every port of call, each shore excursion, and especially the time that we were able to explore on our own. The local guides were, for the most part, exceptional. Having a guide that has lived in the area for most or all of their lives made the tours that much more authentic. They shared more info than just the standard tourist blabber. We actually learned so much about each port and the history that went along with it. Absolutely the best way to experience several different countries.

Deluxe Stateroom

Cabin F

Larger than cruise ships upon which we have previously traveled, especially the bathroom.

Very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We don't spend a lot of time in our stateroom when we cruise.
