I was looking for a relaxing no fly cruise. We cruised on the Anthem of the Seas to Bermuda. The Anthem is one of the newer ships in the RCI fleet. A beautiful ship through and through. A lot of modern touches. From the Bionic Bar to the very nice Northstar viewing gondola.

Let's do the Pros first. The cabin was roomy and spacious.the decor was modern with many high tech touches. The $55 per day drink package is the way to. A great value when you consider you'll have at least 5 drinks per day. The food was satisfactory. We had dinner at a premium restaurant, Chops Grill. One of the best Filet Mingon ever. The mud pie for desert was amazing. We went to see We Will Rock You on the last night. It was fabulous. Broadway quality at its best. Many bars and places to snack from. Sorennto's pizza was good but there was a funky grated cheese smell in there. The pool accommodations were very good as well. As was the solarium restaurant. Our cabin attendent was great. If you needed anything, he took care if it. More towels, no problem. In closing, this is a very big ship. It took a few days to get used to it and find your way around.

Now some Cons, this was my 4th RCI cruise. I felt this ship was under staffed. From the moment we boarded, the bartenders seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people at any given bar. In past cruises, my friends and usually gravitated towards a bar with a friendly bartender. On the Anthem, I never got that feeling. With the of We Will Rock You, the entertainment was sub par. From The Gift, An RCI original production to an awful comedian who pretty much did a routine of sound effects. Spectra's Cabaret was visually well done but, needed more music in my opinion.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Very roomy and clean. I think this was the biggest cabin I have been in.
