Had another strong experience with Oceania on the Marina. We didn't notice much difference between the Riviera and the Marina, given they are only one year different. The restaurants were excellent, the staff very service-oriented. Embarking and disembarking all went smoothly. We took one of the cooking classes, which was a lot of fun, and we learned some valuable items. The fitness room was plenty large enough and was never difficult to get equipment. The two things that could be improved upon are the entertainment and the excursions. The entertainment choices were not ideal, e.g. pianist, soprano, and the vocal talent of the cruise team wasn't that strong. While the excursions are expensive compared to what you can arrange on your own, it might be worth it if they were consistently good. But the reports were mixed, so it's not worth paying three times the price for comparable tours. Overall, the value for the money was excellent.
Nice large cabin with walk-in closet allowing plenty of space for luggage. Comfortable living room area with couch, table and two chairs in addition to desk with chair. Nice balcony with two large chairs & a table. Made our cruise very pleasant.
