this was our second Viking cruise. Wanted a longer trip, since we were going to Europe. All worked perfectly. Ship great. people nice. Weather great. Was surprised by some extras given to us. Well worth the price. Didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Ship quite contemporary, with nice touches. Food was gourmet, including breakfast, lunch, and dinners. Had wine every nite. Something I'm not used to. Can get quite spoiled on a trip like this. Met with tours at every stop. Local guides were very knowledgeable and provided us with great insight of all the areas we stopped at. Had lots of free time on tours to explore on our own. Also, enjoyed slowly cruising the rivers, as the host narrated along the way. Saw many castles, vineyards, towns along the way. Made for a very interesting history class. All in all, would highly recommend a Viking River Cruise.
