We had taken the Normandy cruise and wanted to go on another one. The Danube cruise offered several places we wanted to visit. The staff, food, accommodations, and tours were wonderful. I don't think there was one thing I would change. The shore excursions were interesting and not at all strenuous for us. We had plenty of time to explore on our own. Shopping in most places was blah, but that was expected. The food on the boat was excellent. We had a variety of dishes for each meal. We liked having the option of a less formal meal in another part of the boat (can't think of the name). The Bavarian dinner was lots of fun and delicious. Our servers were very generous with wine and beer. Visiting with the servers and other staff was interesting. The Salzburg excursion was lovely. We enjoyed seeing this charming town and the scenery on the way was beautiful. Having a balcony allowed us to relax, read and watch he world go by in our own private area. It was heavenly! We are already signed up to go on the Rhone cruise next Sept.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Our cabin was very nice. We particularly enjoyed having a balcony. Catherine, our housekeeper, was very nice and took good care of us. We liked the lotion, shampoo, etc. very much. The cabin was small but very well equipped.
