We had greatly enjoyed two previous trips with Viking leaving from Moscow and Budapest and chose a route that was new to us and included going through an area that some ancestors came from and ended in Switzerland where we had family ties. The ship was first class with very comfortable dining and meeting areas and always in perfect order. We always looked forward to meal time and the many selections to choose from, and appreciated the opportunity to occasionally order off menu.

All the staff, with their varied responsibilities, were professional, knowledgeable and personable. There was no doubt that the crew was there to support and have "happy" customers. The officers were readily available, and were quite visible throughout the trip including the evening events. It seemed like some of them had second jobs as entertainers.

Our cabin was very comfortable and excellently maintained. I don't believe we missed any of the organized events. The one thing I think that could be improved on this trip is the shore excursions. They seemed to be totally time driven. If you stopped to look at something of interest you risked getting left behind. We certainly have hopes for a fourth Viking trip.
