Viking timed their flight arrive to coincide with there boarding times. After clearing ship security could board right away. Since we were the last to board we went straight to the buffet for lunch.. By the time we arrived to the cabin luggage was already there. The should have kept the buffet open longer to accommodate later arriving passengers. This is the second year for this ship, so the ship is still is good condition. This is what is called a small ship about 950 passengers, and Viking understands service extremely well. The cabin had a mini bar which was checked every day.

The ship had some communication issues with the in cabin entertainment, which was spotty for about two days then was resolved.

Viking uses the open eating concept fro the dining room, so if you want to dine with another couple both couples should go to the dining room at the same time. If one is used to the fixed seating this is easy to adjust to once you know.. The food was good, diversified, ad filling but not gourmet, they had a separate by reservation dining room for gourmet dining. The ship also had an Italian dining option again by reservation and a buffet area.

Cabin Review

Cabin deluxe balcony

clean comfortable well laid out. Shower European style so prone to leakage and getting bathroom floor wet.
