We went with friends to celebrate our 65fith birthday's. Starting with our AAA travel agent everything went great. Travel package presented before the trip outlined everything very well, flights were great, transfer went without a hitch both ends of the trip. The ship, Viking Prestige was great, very convenient layout, sun deck, forward terrace, main dining room. The staff on trip was exceptional, I've never been so pampered from the house keeping staff, waiter's, bar manager, and even the head chef (he took us on a tour of the market in Vienna). The other passengers on the boat were friendly, had good conversation and made new friends. Our room was always taken care of even when we returned from a morning trip and took showers, everything was fresh when we returned from dinner.

Night time activities as well as on board activity's were fun, the best was our evening arrival on the Danube into Budapest was GREAT. The food was exceptional, the breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and dinner offerings showed the talents of the chef and kitchen staff and was exemplified by the wait staff. We upgraded our beverage package and the offerings really showed the experience of the cruise staff. Highly recommend!!!!
