We always wanted to go on a river cruise and had never been to Europe. The ads we saw on tv and in travel brochures helped us decide on Viking. It was all it was cracked up to be and more.
The crew was excellent!! They were friendly, helpful, always ready to help out if needed.
The smaller number of passengers made it easier to make friends with the other passengers.

Cabin French balcony
It was compact but very comfortable.
No top sheet but our room steward put one on my bed. Joanna was great.
A safe was provided.
Large closet space.
Water
No clock, it would have been helpful when we had to get up for a tour.
