We chose this cruise because of the small ship experience. We did not want to be on a big "floating city". We found Windstar to be a wonderful experience. the only thing I would change is for Windstar to allow complimentary internet and to be more reasonable about the exorbitant alcohol package. That said, we loved the experience! The staff is very welcoming. We highly recommend the laundry service...outstanding. We do think that the shore excursions are overrated and very expensive. We found that we could do better just going on line and booking an excursion by ourselves. For example, the Blue Grotto tour was well over $100 and we booked a tour for $33. The planned, free excursion to the Gambino Winery was amazing! Totally enjoyable. We did not think Split was a particularly good stopover; the Diocletian Palace was filled with souvenir ships...not very interesting to us. Kotor and Roving were the highlights for us....well worth the stopover.

Fabulous city to explore.

Split

Split just doesn't have a lot to offer besides tourist shops.

It was ok.
