I had read that Viking had been in this business of river cruising for a long time. They had new ships coming on line in 2016 which I did not know but was informed of by my travel consultant at Viking. He suggested I move my embarkation day back one and I would be on a brand new boat. I did and was extremely pleased with the whole cruise. Service was exemplary, the food was more than adequate and quite delicious and the accommodations very comfortable. The included land tours were well organized with locals doing the narration and the optional ones in the afternoon of which we picked 3 also interesting. The staff was exceptional with service and pleasing the client number one on their list. Friendly and accomodating and filling your requests with a smile. I would recommend this company with no reservation. First class in all areas: accommodation, vessel, tours, entertainment and service.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda A stateroom

Well laid out with a balcony with table and chairs. Bed very comfortable and bathroom, though tight was adequate to shower and get ready in.
