We arrived in Berlin two days early and were able to get rooms at the Hilton Berlin where the Viking Tour started. I think it is the best hotel in Berlin given its location and how nice it is. I was not excited about taking city tours, but Viking proved my hesitation wrong. I went with my parents and 22 year old daughter and we had a blast on every tour!

I was very happy with the selection of cities we visited and the only thing I would change would be to spend more time in Budapest. There is so much to see and we really only got one day to fit it all in. Next time!

The boat was great. It was clean, easy to navigate and well dressed. The crew was fantastic at every level. The bartenders, waiters, concierge, literally every crew member was friendly, eager to help and just plain fun to hang out with. If I could have that exact same crew the next time I go I would!

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

I don't remember our cabin number. How I forgot so quickly I don't know. My daughter and I had a stateroom as I didn't think a balcony would be worth the money when we would spend all of our outdoor time on the boat on the deck. That was a smart decision. The bathroom was very clean, the ability to hide luggage under the beds was great and the beds were comfortable. The TV was a nice addition, though we didn't see much TV there was a large selection of viewing options.
