We chose this cruise because we wanted to see the cities in it. We had cruised the Rhone and Saone previously and enjoyed the cruise. This Danube cruise was GREAT and loved every minute of it. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Food was wonderful and varied. The waiters learned our names and preferences almost immediately. Cabin was fine, although we couldn't use the balcony much because of the rain. Excursions were quite informative. The guides were knowledgeable in the various cities. The tour to Melk was a highlight. The church was amazing. We were pleasantly surprised with the tour of the Czech Republic. The cities were all very clean and the population were very friendly. We would take this cruise again, but will probably choose another cruise so we can see more of the world. All in all, this was the best cruise we have taken. Thanks Viking River Cruises.
