We did our homework. Too many people had nothing but very good comments with Viking. Besides, who wants to go on a cruise with 5,000 other people? Certainly not us. And the added benefit of a minimum age made our time on board superb.

The crew were always in a good state of mind, something about which I questioned the Asst General Mgr who responded that there were no "orders" given to the staff to act in any particular way. They just did! Very impressive.
