I am a Silver Latitudes member and my wife is a Platinum member. We picked this cruise based upon the ports and the Haven. We had not previously stayed in the Haven; however, on most of our cruises we have stayed in a Penthouse Suite.
Ship is beautifully decorated and our cabin in the Haven was excellent. We frequented Cagney's, Le Bistro and La Cucina specialty restaurants. These restaurants have great menu items and the service was exceptional. The food and service in the main dining room - Manhattan - was marginal. When the entre was served, it was cold and the service was extremely slow. As for the buffet, the food was excellent; however, good luck on finding a table. We tried several time frames and each was the same - there is not sufficient seating for the number of guests.
The entertainment is great. There is definitely something on this ship for all age groups. The shows were entertaining. Just make your reservation as soon as you decide on something. Each of the shows typically "sell out" quickly.
This cabin is very nice for two people. I would not recommend it for more than two. The balcony is 58 square feet which does not allow for lounge chairs - only two chairs and a small table.
The Haven is exceptional. Although we had the Untimate Dining Package, we had most of our meals in the Haven restaurant. The food was great and the service was "second to none". The entire Haven experience really spoils you. With express disembarkation and embarkation, private sundeck, pool and private restaurant, there is very little need to ever leave the Haven except to visit the duty free shops, entertainment or casino.
With the Haven, you will have a butler and consierge service always available as well as 24 hour room service. You definitely feel spoiled and pampered from the time you go onto the ship until the time you leave.
