We chose this cruise because we heard great things about it, and because we wanted to go to Alaska. The ship was in great condition, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. We were very impressed by the entertainment onboard the Pearl in the evenings. The acts were fabulous - a comic, a cirque soleil performance, and a show. The sightseeing was great, and the ship even pulled up to a Glacier so the passengers could see it closely. The announcements were great and very informative. We enjoyed having a nature guide come onboard the ship to educate the guests about the wilderness of Alaska. Getting off and on the boat was very organized and easy. This was our first cruise, and we would recommend this ship. The choices of ports were great, and the excursions that we booked through the company were great. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.
