This was our first cruise of any kind and chose Emerald because of their relatively new ships and good reviews.
We flew to Munich and did not find it at all easy to find our transfer point, and when we did the gentleman was sat drinking coffee and chatting to other transfer representatives from other cruise lines - Viking etc. so we had to approach him, we then had a wait of almost two hours before having a coach journey of almost 2hrs again to get to the ship.
Check in was very easy, all our bags were taken care of, we were shown to our cabin - 340 on Horizon deck. We were very pleased with the layout and presentation, lots of drawer room and wardrobe space, and enough room to move around. We had two easy chairs and a table in front of our drop down window and it was a pleasant place to sit - that day anyhow!
Good cabin, quiet but a long walk to the lounge and dining room but very near to the swimming pool/cinema
