No problems at all. It was a perfect getaway. Good ship to relax, drink and forget about all your troubles. Saw more adults than families with kids. Which makes perfect sense since there's not much to do for kids. After reading early reviews on this ship, it seemed like a bad idea. But then I read one review that said most of the problems people were complaining about got fixed, and I guess they did because I didn't have any problems at all on this Ship. We had a great time, the staff was extremely friendly. The food was great, staterooms too. Never had problems with the plumbing. The staff in the main dining room was very nice. Since I have several food allergies, they did their best to make sure I was happy with the food. Picked my food in advance and had it made without the ingredients I couldn't eat, including the desert. It was an anniversary trip, so they gave us $50 gift for the spa. As a vacation to do things on and off the ship, I wouldn't recommend Empress, but as a quick cheap getaway, most definitely. One more thing, because it is a small ship, getting on the ship the first day and getting off on the last day was very quick process since there weren't that many people.

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

The cabin was clean, no mini-fridge. All else was good. We got upgraded to a room with a window for no extra charge, very happy with that.
