Scenic was recommended by our travel agent for a Danube river cruise for 4 couples. This was our first river cruise,we were not disappointed. The ship is very elegant, smartly appointed. The cabins were somewhat tight but that is what I understand is the norm. The bed and pillow (6 selections available) were extremely comfortable, the bath towels luxurious.

The meals were very good to excellent. The food was married to each port which helped us to familiarize ourselves with the culture of the area. Alternatives were available every night in addition to the varied menu. The breakfast and lunch were buffet style and plentiful. During the day a snack bar with paninis and pizza was available. The bar was fantastic! Our bartender was outstanding.

The cruise director Adrian could not have been more helpful, informative and colorful in his stories. He watched over us everyday to ensure a smooth and successful experience. Our tours were excellent, tour guides were extremely well informed of the area and had more information available then we could process.
