I chose this cruise as an easy port of departure to visit Bermuda. The international crew is friendly. While the ship is well laid out, they have made it a "smoker friendly" environment with indoor smoking in the casino and multiple outdoor smoking areas. The inside of the ship reeks of cigarette smoke and I constantly could smell smoke on my 9th deck balcony.

The meals in the "complementary" Manhattan Room were not memorable and featured a boring menu with small portions and minimal vegetables. On the same menu you could pay extra for additional meals (lobster, etc). I traveled with a group of 32 and arrangements were made for us to eat at four reserved tables. The table service was consistently poor and so was the drink service.

The two themed buffet lunches in the Cafe Moderno were very good. The embarkation was plagued by IT/computed problems. The disembarkation was poorly executed, with walk-offs having priority over our tour group, which then took us 1.5 hours to get to our bus. Having sailed one previous time with NCL, I will never sail with NCL again.
