The food and wine cruise on Pacific Aria was absolutely amazing. From the moment we lined up to check in (the line moved very quickly) to when we first opened the door to our amazing room to the moment we unfortunately had to leave the ship (which took all of a very quick 5 minutes) we had an amazing time. We got an upgrade on the level of our cabin due to our cruise being for our 20th wedding anniversary. Our cabin was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The bed was comfy and the added bonus of having a tv and dvd player was great for relaxing in bed late at night. The bathroom was very clean and easy to use. We also had a great steward (thanks Richard) whom was always at the ready to assist us.

We mostly dined at the pantry which we absolutely loved. The food was always yummy and the various daily selections blew us away every time. The staff in the pantry were always very nice and extremely helpful. We dined twice at the Waterfront restaurant but felt the food came nowhere near the quality and selection of the pantry. Loved drinking the yummy cocktails. The ship itself was beautifully furnished with great colour schemes. I loved the blue room. It was always such a pleasure to walk around the ship. The games that were on during the day were always great fun and we had lots of laughs. The night time entertainment was great and we even got to watch the nrl grand final. My husband and I had an awesome time on the Pacific Aria and never once did we feel unhappy or disappointed. (except when we didn't get in quick enough to book into Angelo's and the Dragon Lady. Do this as soon as you get on board. We were still happy though) Can't wait to do it again, this time with our three children. Had an awesome time, loved it, loved it, loved it.

Cabin Review

Cabin interior

Beautiful, comfortable, accommodating cabin. Bed was comfy, bathroom was lovely with its sparkly bench top and easy to use shower. Loved the lounge to sit on. Lots of cupboard and drawer space. Great tv and dvd player. The cabin was also nice and dark for sleeping with the added bonus of a privacy curtain.

Port Reviews

Brisbane

we were early for check in so we went next door and looked through some shops, had a coffee and went to the viewing deck to check out the ship we were about to board. As soon as people started to check in (an hour before our allotted check in time) we lined up and was allowed to check in an hour early. The check in process was quick, easy and no trouble for us at all. Mind you we were very excited about getting on the boat so nothing was going to bother us.
