Our first cruise, new ship, had nothing to compare it to. Advertised really well. I was so excited.

I think i have been put off cruising for life. The taxes were so high on drinks that all the bars were empty. People were refusing to pay . I was charged for things on my card that I did not have, to a total of over £60.00. I felt like i spent most of my time queuing with all the others at the customer service desk. I had pre ordered some drink to be in my room,£91, It was not all there it took 2 days to rectify.

The ship itself was very modern, beautiful boat, and the Balcony Stateroom was lovely. Food was in my opinion pretty good, but having spoke to other cruisers they have had a lot better, even on other Carnival cruises. A bottle of wine was $47…we asked for 2 cans of fosters and it was $21, no table cloths, I could go on and on.
