I chose this cruise for spring break. This was my second time on the dream and it was just as nice as the first time. A group of seven traveled together with three who were first timers. I've taken at least nine cruises that I can recall. My preferred departure port is the port of New Orleans because of the ease of embarkation and the port is close to home. The staggered time works well and we were on the ship quickly. I had two connecting balcony rooms on the eight floor and the cabin steward was great. We had late dining and the service was slower than normal on this particular cruise, but I had nowhere to go and nothing to do! Enjoyed all three ports. Traveled with three children(16, 15, & 15). They enjoyed their club and they also love to cruise. I will be taking the carnival triumph December 1st to celebrate my mothers birthday and the Dream again for Spring Break 2017. The shows were good. I did not participate in any activities because most of them I've already done on previous cruises. For this cruise I mostly hung out on Lido deck and mingled. We took taxis in both Jamaica and the Cayman Islands to the beach and that was nice. In Cozumel we walked around town so that my daughter could practice her Spanish with the locals. She absolutely loves this so we have to devote a portion of our day for her to mingle, meet with the people of the island. I did not use the spa services, but the temperature in the hot tub's were not warm enough. We had no problems getting off the ship everybody cooperated and follow directions so we were off the ship by 10 AM and headed back home.
