I chose this cruise because it gave me the opportunity to visit all of the main islands in Hawaii. After reading many reviews by previous travelers I was worried. The biggest complaints involved the actions and attitudes of cruise staff. Many people said that since it was basically and American crew ;you did not get the service that comes with crews of other cruise lines. People talked about lack of care and attention, cold food due to slow and incompetent servers. Well, they were liars! Everyone was top notch. They went out of their way to give me an extraordinary vacation. . Embarkation and disembarking was best I ever encountered. Ship was refurbished recently and it was wonderful. Meals were fine. My only concern is this cruise did not offer Lobster on Captains night. OH! It was offered but only if you paid extra. This was discouraging. The appeal of this cruise are the islands themselves. There were many excursions that the ship offered. However, I used information from previous cruisers and I booked my own trips and saved big bucks. The entertainment was good. I was a little upset that the magician was on vacation during my week. He was replaced by a card trick artist. Jon Dorenbos from the Philly Eagles is better. I do love the" Jersey Boys" and NCL has their version called "Oh What A Night" They were very good. Mini restaurants like Cadillac Diner and Key West Grille were perfect for a quick good meal. People complained about cabins. Those people would complain if they were given free money daily. They would want 20's instead of 10 dollar bills You do not live in your cabin. Sleep and clean up. If you need space spend a little more and get a balcony.
