We chose this cruise just for the dates. Had a prior commitment nearby and it worked for us, a party of four. Embarkation was a breeze as always. On the ship in less than 45 minutes from our Park n Go on Eller drive. A little upset about the beverage package changes so just got the Coke package to drink my tonic water. Entertainment was top notch and often on this President's cruise. Patti LaBelle was a real kick. For those that saw it with us in the first showing she literally kicked off her shoes and rocked.

I thought the balcony cabins on the boardwalk were too small but not having the bed near the balcony did help some and cut down on small amount of noise.

The food was very good once we left the 6.00 pm seating and transferred to "My time" dinning. Service was better and the food came out hotter. Our compliments to Jonalyn and Christian at table 316. Made the whole cruise even better.

Fine but too small.

Port Reviews

San Juan

We stopped at the local taxi stand and asked for a new a/c equipped van and an English speaking driver. Up drives Fidel in a new Odyssey and away we went. He took us to were the locals hang and it was great. He even introduced us to his dad that rolls cigars in the square. Excellent experience.

St. Thomas

Being the only ship in port this was an easy one for us and we went downtown and found a tour that would take just us four so no hot sticky ride. Toured the whole island but was surprised at the poverty. The driver kept saying "too expensive to live here".
