Embarkation was very smooth, Princess is organized! At first we were surprised at the age of the ship. We stayed in a mini suite and the sofa was very worn, we did learn the ship is going to be renovated in 2018. The food was delicious and the entertainment was the best we experienced on a Princess trip. Dan the cruise director and was excellent at his job! The entertainment and activities were also above average. Every trivia game was standing room only and the liars trivia was hysterical. We had same time dining and enjoyed the experience, the servers were attentive and good with recommendations for the evening meal..

Our excursion to Santa Barbara took us to Salvane a Danish community, it was interesting however an extremely hot day. We toured the highlights of Long Beach in a charter bus it was informative. Having been to San Diego we decided to go on our own we did pick up the trolley and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

In Ensenada I scheduled a private tour with Baja Kitchen Tours after reading a recommendation on this web site. The only hitch was where we were to meet for the tour they do not go inside the cruise port so you have to meet outside of the security. The tour was educational as well and fun, we toured two vineyards and had lunch also we received two bottles of wine. I would recommend it is a little pricey though.
