Despite all the reviews I read, we had a great time on the Empress. Two adults and two 17 year old girls. Cruise director Elvis and his crew were so much fun. Elvis, Bernardo & Isaac know how to entertain. From cake decorating, belly flop contests, trivia, and name that tune games. Shows were good, comedians were hilarious, Quest and Marriage games were awesome! Ship was beautiful, clean, and other than AC in the casino (which they were supplementing with fans), we were comfortable everywhere we went. Food was good, drinks were great....... couldn't ask for more. Our room was fine..... a little extra square footage for an oceanview (#7164). Afraid regular oceanview may have been a little tight. Both boarding & getting off the ship went smoothly too. Was initially afraid there would not be enough to do on a small ship. Pleasantly surprised. Would definitely book another cruise on the Empress! Thank you Royal Caribbean.
