Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Okay, here's the Reader's Digest version of our cruise out of Cape Liberty on Royal's Anthem of the Seas.

First, we booked over a year ahead of departure and, stupidly, picked "best available" room with a balcony. Result: Ended up next to a crew entrance/exit on deck 6 with a balcony that was about 25 square feet. Maybe more, maybe less. SO disappointed with our room.

BTW, we're Emerald members. Make a difference? Nope.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Not what we hoped for. Next to crew entrance / exit, so constant slamming of crew door. Cabin steward just so-so. Auto-tipping has ruined cruising.
