We chose this cruise to celebrate our 70th birthdays and the fact that we could spend a month with our daughter in Melbourne after docking in Sydney.

Food is OK, only two new choices each day for starters and mains and desserts. Many extra restaurants for which premium prices are paid. Staff are excellent and friendly.

Entertainment is very disappointing, mainly solo artistes who are not to our taste. In nine days we have not had one costumed singing dancing razzamatazz show with sequins, feathers and nice songs. The best show so far was in Tahiti when the best folkloric group on the island gave a fabulous performance for 45 minutes.

Deluxe Veranda 2C

Pleasantly surprised that our cases could be stowed under the bed and there was enough cupboard space for all our hanging clothes. Bathroom was good, shower had hot water all the time, towels replenished daily, stewards wonderful.
