My husband and I travelled on the Breakaway from NY to Bermuda from 9/11-9/18/16. It was our first cruise and the first time we had been away alone in 12 years. We were married 27 years on 9/9/16.

We had the best time ever and so enjoyed reconnecting with one another (We work opposite hours and very rarely have the opportunity for real quality time!)! This cruise provided us with the quality time we needed. We did as much or as little as we wanted to and met so many nice people.

Our time in Bermuda was glorious, as was the weather! We did Hartley's Helmet Diving, The Wildcat Tour around the island with a stop in St. ?George and the Rising Sun II Catamaran snorkel. We loved every minute of it! We were so busy that we did not even have time t get to the beautiful Bermudian beaches, but we will be back! We probably would've booked another cruise while on the ship but our daughter is getting married next year and that comes first in terms of priorities! We will definitely return, alone and with our family!

We were on the left side of the ship in the aft section. When docked in Bermuda, we were facing directly the fort on the Royal Naval Dockyard. We were 3 or so doors from elevator. The steward, Ren was excellent!

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

We live in Long Island and were dropped off at the pier. Once inside, the process was smooth and orderly.
