The Norwegian Dawn has been nicely refurbished and the six of us who traveled together were pleased with the decor changes with the exception of the mutilated pictures in the otherwise beautiful Venetian restaurant. This trip was chosen to revisit Quebec and see the fall colors. We were too early for the fall colors and the weather wasn't the best but everyone in our group had a great time. We had the beverage package and, except for a few peak times, the package was a good value. The balcony rooms were lovely and had plenty of room to store belonging and we brought two large suitcases. The staff was excellent and very friendly. We enjoyed interacting with them and thought the staff was well chosen. Food was adequate and plentiful but the buffet was lackluster. More food choices and variety were needed. That being said we never missed a meal and gained three pounds each. The entertainment was excellent and we enjoyed listening to or seeing the talented singer and dancers. the cruise director was a cut above and added to the enjoyment. There was always music in different venues. In past cruises we have had the opportunity for lectures about the history of the area and we missed that on this cruise.

Nice upgrades and the best bathroom we have had on a cruise ship.
