We took this cruise which was labeled Greenland, and Arctic Canada. The hope was to see wildlife in the Arctic area , local villages and the local environment. The trip overall was average and had its high and low points. The ship, the Sea Adventurer is showing some age and is due for some overall over the next year. Functionally it is on the slow side at 12 knots and does not have stabilizers which can make a different in rough seas. The voyage over the Davis strait was rough for some passengers. Cabins are average and functional and bathrooms are fine. Dining room was overall average with good breakfast, average lunch and average supper. Soups were not very good , too watery. Variety was on the good to excellent side. Service in Dining room was very good. The Expedition crew was very good and lectures overall were good with a few weak ones- whale presentation in particular.
Presentations on Polar bears very good. Expedition crew was efficient and knowledgeable.
We had hoped to see a variety of wildlife and our experience was somewhat disappointing.
