Cabin: Interior Stateroom

The cost was a relative bargain. Our inside cabin was almost ludicrously small; smaller indeed than any cabin I've occupied on over 15 cruises. The bed was miserable and hard; we both ended up with aching backs and necks. I intentionally choose inside because of the price, but this one. Wow. Looking forward to the comparatively spacious cabin we'll occupy on a Holland America ship in November.

Also, this interior cabin was directly below the disco! The area above this cabin is advertised as being a 'lounge', which to most of us means 'bar'.

The cruise staff was, without exception, excellent. The dining room staff was attentive, obliging and charming, as was our stateroom attendant. The entertainment was first rate as well, exceptionally professional and exciting, and much better than one might expect on this pleasantly small ship. The food, however, was somewhat unimaginative and repetitive; all of the non-chocolate desserts tasted the same.
